Step 1

Download, extract all and run the program.

1.1 Select file, open the vob file to be trimmed.
1.2 Mark In and Mark Out the footage you want to keep.
1.3 After you have marked the footage you want to keep, select file, save vob as, enter new file name, select save and it will start extracting the new vob file.
Step 2
2.1 When you have finished editing then you can merge or join all the new vob files with either, Join VOB Files Tool 1.0 or VOBMerge 2.5, ready to convert to a new format.
